Erickson, Thorpe & Swainston opened its doors in 1969 as an insurance defense firm, and this portion of our practice remains a vital part of our business. Over the years, Erickson, Thorpe & Swainston has successfully represented policy holders in a wide variety of cases, defending every conceivable insurable interest. In addition to defending policy holders, Erickson, Thorpe & Swainston frequently represents insurance carriers directly, defending first-party claims, providing coverage opinions and providing representation on extra-contractual matters as well.
