Andrea K. Pressler, a third generation Nevadan, was born in Reno, Nevada. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 2003, she graduated cum laude from Whittier Law School, where she was Managing Editor of the Whittier Law Review.
Ms. Pressler was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2003, serving as judicial clerk for Justice A. William Maupin of the Nevada Supreme Court that same year. She is currently a member of the Washoe County, Nevada and American Bar Associations, a member of the State Bar of Nevada’s Construction Law Section (Treasurer 2010, Vice Chair 2011), and recipient of the 2010 Nevada Business Magazine Northern Nevada’s Top 25 Lawyers and Reno Gazette Journal’s 2010 Twenty under 40 Award.
She is also a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada (President, 2008), the Defense Research Institute, the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association (President, 2007-2008) and the American Inns of Court (Bruce R. Thompson Chapter, 2003- 2007).
