William G. Cobb selected to replace the Honorable Robert A. McQuaid, Jr.

Chief Judge Roger L. Hunt, of the United States District Court for the District of
Nevada, has announced that William G. Cobb has been selected to replace the Honorable
Robert A. McQuaid, Jr. as a United States Magistrate Judge in Reno, Nevada upon Judge
McQuaid’s retirement in September, 2011. Mr. Cobb must first undergo investigations by
the FBI and IRS, which are estimated to take between 10 to12 weeks. If approved, Mr.
Cobb, who is presently a Shareholder with Erickson, Thorpe, & Swainston, Ltd., will serve
primarily in Reno. The term of appointment is eight years.
